NEURO TOUR provides the consistency of one dedicated practitioner to each production. On-site coverage is available hourly, part-time, and full-time. These flexible options are adapted to fit the needs of each production. All equipment and supplies will be provided; special requests can be made. Access to an on-site practitioner is the most efficient and economical way to keep performers happy, healthy, and on-stage.
An individual performance screening assists in preventing injuries by identifying a performers movement inefficiencies, strength, and mobility imbalances, neuromuscular deficiencies, and postural asymmetries. An individualized program, including corrective exercises and self treatment techniques will be prescribed.
A production risk assessment is performed to determine the amount and type of medical coverage that would benefit a production. NEURO TOUR uses a systematic process to evaluate any potential risks. Some factors include staging, choreography, environment, wardrobe, pyrotechnics, and more.
NEURO TOUR practitioners are highly trained and fully certified to provide a variety of hands-on treatment techniques, including: deep and soft tissue massage, dry needling, Active Release Technique, joint mobilization and manipulation and neuromuscular re-education.
Injury prevention and education workshops are adapted to each specific production. The workshop content is developed by paying close attention to the choreography, stunts, fight scenes, acrobatics, tumbling, and aerials. As well as, costumes, headpieces, shoes, and props. Each workshop can include education on proper utilization of a warm-up, core conditioning, corrective exercises, self-treatments, biomechanics, hydration, nutrition, and much more.
