Our mission is to provide and encourage holistic and organic alternatives, fusing Eastern and Western philosophies to promote a healthy lifestyle and minimize injury.

NEURO TOUR was founded by Carolyn Lawson in 1999 with the goal of reducing the number and severity of injuries, thereby keeping performers and artists happy, healthy, and on stage.

Touring with a practitioner on staff proved to be invaluable. It was great to have a qualified specialist who could quickly treat and/or identify a problem or injury. Prior to the arrival of the practitioner the best we could do was to send company members to the ER. This was a drain of both time and money and often proved not even necessary, but better safe than sorry and who are we to diagnose on the road? In most cases, the practitioner could diagnose on the spot. This also proved to be an emotional cushion for the company members and resulted, I believe, in better performances. Often the practitioner would offer preventive suggestions as well.

Having access to the top notch physical therapists from NEURO TOUR made the constant changing of venues, coupled with the rigorous performance and rehearsal schedules, bearable. They have kept us all out of harm’s way on so many occasions and when injury has struck their level-headedness was a blessing. These therapists have put in so many hours maintaining our physical health both on and off the clock, it doesn’t seem possible. The current PT on Wicked, Munchkinland is incredible. Her strength can only be matched by her knowledge. She is articulate, calm and informed yet is always willing to go the extra step. She constantly researches additional exercises and methods to augment her treatments. Both Wicked and NEURO TOUR are lucky to have her.

I’m a local Atlanta stunt performer. My profession requires high levels of athleticism and sometimes calculated risk and just like life, it doesn’t come without bumps and bruises. Thankfully, I have the wonderful support of the NEURO TOUR staff. I tore my ACL last year and recently underwent reconstructive surgery. I thought it was going to be difficult to find someone to properly treat me, especially during the COVID 19 pandemic, but NEURO TOUR took me on as a client and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The team is full of positive energy, endless knowledge for any question that I have, and unbelievably good at what they do. I’ve been able to progress weeks ahead of schedule because of the individual attention and care they’ve given. I’m so thankful to have them on my road to recovery. I was struggling with pain behind my patella and severe muscle atrophy after many operations. After this last surgery, I went through almost 3 months of therapy with no relief before switching to NEURO TOUR. After just two weeks of physical therapy at NEURO TOUR utilizing BFR therapy I have started to notice muscle gain and a drastic reduction in knee pain. I can genuinely say I look forward to going to therapy and noticed significant improvements in my body.
